Nepal Trek

Enjoyed a week of trekking in Nepal with all the boys – flew up to Kathmandu and on to Pokhara with five days of walking, four nights under canvas. Not too onerous given the accompanying dozen or so sherpas to carry tables, chairs, tents and so on as well as an excellent cook to keep…

Off to Nepal…

We are all off to Nepal for the boys half term – spent a few days down in Ooty for Parents Week at Hebron – as inspiring as ever. Finbarr was in the chorus for "Joseph" which we enjoyed immesely – Felix is settling in nicely now after a slightly shaky start. Fergus is thrilled…

It was a great relief to board the plane after such delays – and an even greater thrill when we finally landed in Paro…

An afternoon in Bhaktapur

Enjoyed the afternoon in Bhaktarpur which is about an hours drive outside Kathmandu and significantly less polluted. Went along with some other stranded fellow passengers and had a very pleasant afternoon in the drizzly on/off rain, and cool air. Kathmandu is now so polluted that it really is unpleasant to drive around in the stinking…
